My name is Fakihla Bradley, the proud owner and founder of Lucy's Treats. I’m a devoted homemaker, raising my four daughters alongside my husband here in St. Louis, Missouri.

My passion for baking began when I decided to host a bake sale for our church, United Christian Community Church. One day, as I sat on the couch brainstorming ways to raise money, God gave me the perfect idea. I remembered my grandma, who would make her famous Cream Cheese Pound Cakes to raise funds for her own church. Inspired, I reached out to her, and she lovingly walked me through the steps of her recipe.

That bake sale was a turning point for me. I realized how much people appreciate the love and care that goes into baking, especially when it comes to my grandma’s pound cakes. I was deeply moved by hearing others reminisce about their own family’s baking traditions, and how it made them feel nostalgic and connected to their roots.

To honor my grandma and the legacy she passed down, I decided to share her recipes with my neighbors and the community, spreading the love one pound cake at a time.
